A Winter's Afternoon Tea: Sunday - February 4th, 2018

Join us for "A Winter's Afternoon Tea" on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at the historic Glebe House Museum. Guests will enjoy traditional afternoon teas and a delectable selection of sweet and savory treats served by costumed docents. This elegant tea will be set in the main floor rooms of the historic Glebe House. Guests may be seated in the grand Green Parlor, the formal study or the colonial kitchen. This year Laura Brown, of Woodbury’s Jewelry Café, will give a presentation about the history of colonial “drinking” chocolate. History has seen chocolate as an invaluable, sacred and even magical beverage. Guests will be treated to a small tasting of this satisfying tonic and will receive a coupo
