The Museum is open for special events and by appointment only.

Please call the Museum Office to schedule group tours. 

May 2020: 

The Museum resumes regularly scheduled tour hours.

The Gertrude Jekyll Garden:  Open year round, 7 days per week, dawn-dusk, for self-guided tours.

2020 SUMMER EXPERIENCE FOR CHILDREN

HANDS ON HISTORY: July 6 - 10 

Mon-Fri (9 am - 3 pm)

$220 Members / $240 Non-Members

Experience living history by making candles, playing colonial games, digging for artifacts, churning butter, discovering treasures in the Museum and so much more. (ages 6-12)

ART OF THE GARDEN: July 13 - 17

Mon-Fri (9 am - 3 pm) 

$220 Members / $240 Non-Members 

Have fun gardening in our Colonial Children’s Garden, plant crazy containers, design your own garden gloves, learn about herbal remedies and make a first aid kit, paint in the garden, and much more. (ages 6-12)

INDIVIDUAL THEMED PROGRAM DAYS: July 20 - 24

9 am - 1 pm / each day

$40 (per day) Members / $45 (per day) Non-Members

Participants may sign up for 1 or more days. (ages 8-15)

Monday, July 20: Tin Lanterns

Tuesday, July 21: Colonial Cooking

Wednesday, July 22: Blacksmithing

Thursday, July 23: Basket-making

Friday, July 24: Textiles & Simple Weaving
