The Glebe House Museum

May - Mid-October: The Glebe House Museum is open for guided tours Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 - 3:30.

The Museum Shop is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 - 4:00 for information and purchases. 

The Gertrude Jekyll Garden:  Open year round, 7 days per week, dawn-dusk, for self-guided tours.

*Please follow proper "social distancing" when visiting. 


Sunday, July 4th: The Glebe House Museum will be closed in observance of Independence Day.

Guided Tour Information

Approximate tour length: 30 - 40 minutes within the Museum with extra time in the Garden for Docents to answer questions or elaborate on areas of interest if requested. 

**Masks are recommended, however vaccinated individuals may enter without a mask. Non-vaccinated individuals are requested to wear a mask when entering the buildings. * Each tour is limited to 6 Adults. 

*As the number of tours per weekend is limited, to ensure availability for your party, you may make a reservation by contacting the Museum Office by phone (203-263-2855) or by email (office@glebehousemuseum.org) 48 hours in advance. The Museum Office is open Wednesday-Sunday.

*Due to the nature of our historic site, accessibility may be limited for those with disabilities. Please contact the Museum Director at 203-263-2855 for details before your visit.
