GLEBE HOUSE MUSEUM RECEIVES GRANT FROM ION BANK FOUNDATION FOR SUMMER EXPERIENCE PROGRAMS The Glebe House Museum announces that the Summer Experience for Children will continue this year with the help of Ion Bank and modifications made to follow State Guidelines for COVID-19 related best practices for the health and safety of the children and families that will participate. The Museum has received a grant from the Ion Bank Foundation in the amount of $1000 to help support summer programming. Thanks to the ION Bank Foundation’s support the Glebe House will be able to present educational programs that provide area young people with experiences which have inspired them to remain as youth volun

Health & Safety Matters! The Summer Experience for Children at the Glebe House Museum & Gertrude Jekyll Garden July 6 – 23, 2020 We want you to know that the safety of your children & family matter to us. We have modified our summer programs to follow COVID-19 related best practices. We are following the State of Connecticut Office of Early Childhood Camp/Child Care Guidelines to provide our participants, families, volunteers and staff with the best summer experience possible and to maintain the highest level of safety for all. Important Changes You Need to Know: - New – COVID-19 Informed Consent Form required for all participants. - All participants & staff will have temperatures checked up
