Health & Safety Matters!

The Summer Experience for Children at the Glebe House Museum &

Gertrude Jekyll Garden July 6 – 23, 2020

We want you to know that the safety of your children & family matter to us. We have modified our summer programs to follow COVID-19 related best practices. We are following the State of Connecticut Office of Early Childhood Camp/Child Care Guidelines to provide our participants, families, volunteers and staff with the best summer experience possible and to maintain the highest level of safety for all.

Important Changes You Need to Know:

- New – COVID-19 Informed Consent Form required for all participants.

- All participants & staff will have temperatures checked upon arrival to program.

- Parents & Guardians will not enter the buildings.

- Hand washing / hand sanitizing required throughout the program.

- Groups will be limited to 10 children.

- Programs will start at 9:00 am and end at 1:00 pm to prevent interaction with other groups.

- All staff & volunteers must wear masks.

- Children are not required to wear masks.

- High touch disinfectant cleaning daily.

- Mandatory COVID-19 case reporting required for all summer program providers.
