August 10 – 14: Flanders Nature Center’s Colonial Living Adventure Academy at the Glebe House

Ages 8 – 12 / 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Leave the 21st century behind as you fully immerse yourself in the daily routines, challenges, and quiet perseverance of life during the American Revolution. The Glebe House Museum is a c. 1750 Georgian colonial home that was the residence of the Marshall family, who lived within its walls while navigating the turmoil and social changes of the Revolutionary War. This hands-on program brings back to life the practical skills necessary for survival and comfort in the colonial era. Campers will learn by doing, using period-appropriate tools and techniques under the guidance of our historical interpreters. Come and experience living history! The Colonial Living Academy takes place at the Glebe House Museum. Campers will be dropped off and picked up each day at the Glebe House, located at 49 Hollow Road, Woodbury, CT 06798.

Pre-Registration Required. Register early. Space in the programs is limited.

See the website for details and registration information: www.glebehousemuseum.org. Registrations will be accepted until the program is filled.

*Flanders Academy Registration accepted at www.flandersnaturecenter.org/summercamp only.
