Summer Experience 2021



STEP INTO ANOTHER TIME…

Enjoy unique summer experiences, filled with fun and hands-on learning at our 18th century historic site. The staff includes talented educators who work to provide a safe and rich environment for children. Programs are designed to be accurate, interactive, exciting and to stimulate further interest in history, horticulture, early American trades and the arts.

Summer Experience 2021


2-Full Week Programs

Monday – Friday / 9:00 am-3:00 pm

Ages 6-12


~ July 12 – 16: Hands on History - Relive Woodbury Life in the 18th Century

Experience living history by making candles, playing colonial games, churning butter, discovering treasures in the museum and so much more.

~ July 19 - 23: Art of the Garden - Gardening & Garden Crafts

Have fun gardening at our Colonial Children’s Garden, plant crazy containers, learn about herbal remedies, paint in the garden, and much more.


5-Individual Themed Day Programs

Ages 10-15 / Hours: 9 am – 1 pm Only


~July 26: Colonial Lighting & Tin Lanterns

~July 27: Colonial Cooking

~July 28: Print & Book Making

~July 29: Basket Making

~July 30: Textiles & Simple Weaving

Museum Hours:

The Museum is closed for the season except for special events.

The Gertrude Jekyll Garden:  Open year-round, 7 days per week, dawn-dusk, for self-guided tours.

 *Please excuse our appearance as our staff has begun restoration work in the Jekyll Garden.  The Garden will remain open to the public throughout the restoration.
