Open House & Holiday Shoppe

Saturday, December 6, 2025

11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Admission is Free – Donations Accepted

The story of the “glebe” continues with the life of a Woodbury family during the early 19th century, as the Botsford family prepares for the holidays. Living in the Glebe House from 1799 to 1867, the Botsford family became the longest residents of the historic home, navigating the social and political changes during the period. Numerous holiday traditions showcased at the Glebe House, which are familiar today, became popular in the 1800s.

The museum will be decorated with unique decorations, including some that may be purchased. Costumed docents will guide visitors through the main floor of the house, and

young docents will demonstrate traditional activities.

Find that unique decoration or a special gift in the Holiday Shoppe located within the Glebe House Museum. Vintage, handmade, and new items will be available for purchase.

Cash, checks, and credit cards will be accepted.
