18th Century Communion Tokens

from the

Glebe House Collection

Exhibition Open House

Saturday, April 1st / 1:00 – 4:00 pm

Admission – Free / Donations Accepted

Join us for an open house exhibition featuring the beautiful examples of lacemaking created by Johanna McClelland. These incredible pieces of artistry were donated over 17 years ago and although displayed in an exhibition at the time, the collection has not been viewed for many years.

And

Eighteenth century tokens were given as certification of "good Status" within the Church, allowing one to partake in the Eucharist. View examples found in the Glebe House Collection.

Both subjects were featured in the Museum’s “From the Attic” virtual series.

Museum staff will be available to answer questions about the collections and historic house.
