Saturday, April 24th: Book & Plant Sale to benefit the Glebe House Museum & Gertrude Jekyll Garden


Join us on Saturday, April 24th for a Spring Book & Plant Sale. New & Used books will be available for purchase at the historic site from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. Books available cover many topics, including gardening, history, fiction, non-fiction, coffee table books and more. Visitors may also find puzzles to occupy a their time. Plants from the Gertrude Jekyll garden will also be available for purchase.

Cash & Checks will be accepted. All proceeds directly benefit the Glebe House Museum & Gertrude Jekyll Garden. (Rain Date: Sunday, April 25)

The Gertrude Jekyll Garden is open 7 days per week, dawn-dusk, for self-guided tours. The Glebe House Museum will open for the season on Saturday, May 1st.

Museum Hours:

The Museum & Shop: Open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for the 2026 Season, from 1:00 - 4:00 pm.

Check our Calendar for upcoming weekend information.

Last Day of the Season for Regular Museum Hours: October 11, 2026 

Holidays and special events may impact hours.  

Please check our Calendar and Hours Page for details.

*** August 24: Maintenance & Repair of the Glebe House has begun. Although the Garden is still open to the public, we ask you to remain outside of the caution tape surrounding the house. 

Please also be aware that parking is limited while the construction vehicles are on site. 

Our weekend Museum hours will not be affected.  

The Gertrude Jekyll Garden: Open year-round, 7 days per week, from dawn to dusk, for self-guided tours.

 *Please excuse our appearance as our staff has begun restoration work in the Jekyll Garden.  The Garden will remain open to the public throughout the restoration.
