The Glebe House Museum & Gertrude Jekyll Garden in Woodbury is participating in the 36 hour online community giving event organized by the Connecticut Community Foundation on April 25-26. Every dollar donated from 7 am on April 25 to 7 pm on April 26 will be enhanced with funds provided by Connecticut Community Foundation and generous sponsors. Donors may visit https://givelocalccf.org/npo/glebe-house-museum-gertrude-jekyll-garden to participate. *New this year: Donors may schedule their gift prior to the event between 7 a.m. on Saturday, April 22 to 6:59 a.m. Tuesday, April 25. Saturday, May 20 The Museum will host its annual fundraising event, An Evening of Festive Dinners with Friends. Guests will enjoy a cocktail party in The Gertrude Jekyll Garden at The Museum from 5:30 to 7:00 with delicious delicacies and fine wines, and a live auction with fabulous experiences to bid on. Following the cocktail hour, guests will dine at one of a dozen homes throughout Woodbury and the surrounding area. The honorary chair for the gala this year is Mrs. Lucian D. Warner, longtime supporter of the house & garden , and many other community organizations. An Evening of Festive Dinners with Friends is the museum's major fundraiser of the year.
